  • A traditional English Afternoon Tea is a delicious meal composed of finger sandwiches, scones, sweet pastries and cakes.

    We offer an authentic British tea session (with a few American twists!), complete with your choice of tea, assorted sandwiches, scones, and sweets served in our cozy and intimate tea rooms.

  • We’re glad you asked! Windsor House is dedicated to an authentic British afternoon tea experience. We are a family run business with an English chef and owner, and deliver the same treatment and quality you would receive in the U.K.

    Windsor House makes all our delicious savories and sweets from scratch using fresh ingredients, and serve a variety of loose leaf teas. We also keep our tea rooms small and intimate to create a relaxing and comfortable space.

    We’re dedicated to giving you an authentic, welcoming, and special experience.

  • Call us at 973-579-5300 to book. If you receive our voicemail, please leave your name, how many in your party, and when you’d like to come in. We’ll call back within a few days to confirm and return calls based on immediacy. If you do not receive a call from us confirming, you are NOT booked.

    We are a small family team with a very high volume of calls, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.

    Our tea room hours are:
    Friday - Saturday: 11am / 1pm / 3pm
    Sunday: 11am / 1pm

    Our parking lot is located behind the building. We highly recommend carpooling, as our lot can fill up quickly!

    We are located right by the antique shops and shopping outlets. We highly suggest planning a full day of tea and shopping. (What could be more fun?!)

  • We offer a Junior Tea option, which you can check out on our menu page. We welcome children of all ages, but our afternoon tea experience is more enjoyable for children 9 and up.

  • Yes, we do! We offer many different events all year. Subscribe to our email list to be the first to know!

  • Yes, you can! You can order from our website, or let us know when you make your reservation. You can check out our cake flavors on our Custom Orders page. If you would like to celebrate with a cake, please order at least 7 days before your tea session.

  • Absolutely! You can reserve our downstairs tea room, upstairs tea room, or both for your party.

    Due to high volume, we DO NOT accept private event inquiries over the phone. Fill out our “Contact Us” form for more information.

  • There is no dress code requirement. However, many guests enjoy dressing up in their best tea attire!

  • Yes, we are! We also have an accessible restroom. Please let us know when you reserve that your group needs accessible seating.

  • Yes, we do! Our staff is thoroughly trained in food safety and cross contamination, and we are diligent in allergen safety. We ask that you please inform us of any allergies when making your reservation.

    However, there is still always a risk, particularly if you have a severe food allergy. We advise you to use your own personal discretion when making your dining decisions.

    We are happy to accommodate gluten free and vegetarian guests, but we sadly cannot accommodate vegan or dairy free guests.
